Technical Session: Enabling the Saudi Vision 2030 to double the size of the KSA chemical industry by contributing downstream process technology and catalysts through partnerships

  • About
  • Speakers

This key target for Saudi Vision 2030 is part of diversifying the energy mix in KSA away from oil as a feedstock for fuel production towards high-value chemical products. The Oil Sustainability Program complements this target with the aim to sustain and develop the demand for hydrocarbons by identifying alternative applications. Johnson Matthey (JM) is using its’ proven catalyst and technology commercialisation expertise to catalyst this transition with FCC additives and downstream technologies such as hydrogen, methanol and formaldehyde. Through partnerships with oil refineries and companies with complementary catalysts/technologies, then JM is contributing to the implementation of innovative solutions suitable for the Kingdom.
