JIAWEI TENG

Deputy Chief Engineer, SINOPEC - SHANGHAI RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF PETROCHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY (SRIPT)

Biography

Mr. Jiawei Teng graduated from Dalian University of Technology and received his doctor’s degree in 1998. He is a senior expert of SINOPEC, and the Deputy Chief Engineer of SINOPEC SRIPT (Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology).

Mr. Teng’s research works focus on zeolite catalyst and new olefin production technology. The full-crystalline ZSM-5 catalysts as well as OCC process, which he and his team developed, have been commercialized in many plants.

Mr. Teng holds over 90 patents, and has published over 40  research papers. He has received China National Science and Technology Invention Award in 2012 and Hydrocarbon Processing Awards for the Best Petrochemical Technology in 2021.
