Biography

Kurt Du Mong is the Chief Executive Officer of Zeopore Technologies NV, an entrepreneurial scale-up from the University of Leuven (Belgium) which is on a fast growth path to make its mark in the refining & chemical catalyst industry.

Kurt enjoys bringing new technologies to market and leading growth companies towards success. He is excited to lead the journey of the Zeopore team towards major technological breakthrough in the world of zeolite catalysis. This journey significantly contributes to the optimal use of fossil and natural raw materials and enables the sustainability shift of chemical industries.

He gathered 25+ years of professional growth in multinational chemical companies Shell (United Kingdom), Hoffmann-La Roche (Switzerland) and DSM (the Netherlands), managing all key disciplines such as business management, manufacturing/operations, marketing & sales, purchasing and supply chain management.

As CEO, he also benefits from his business experience in the world of high-growth companies, corporate venture capital and acquisitions, and has been on several company boards. He has built and managed a new business venture within DSM Innovation, based on the integration and expansion of an acquired entity, with main responsibilities in operations, business development and alliance management.
