Biography

Sara Al-Otaibi, Lead of Strategic Partnerships at KAUST, is a visionary leader who champions positive impact through partnerships, innovation, and women's empowerment. Her exceptional communication, project management, and leadership skills have enabled her to successfully spearhead partnership initiatives across academia, industry, government, and NGOs.

Sara's global perspective, bridging cultures and perspectives, stems from her dual citizenship of Saudi Arabia and the United States. Her diverse experience spans various industries, including her transformative work at Saudi Aramco, where she led the re-imagination and re-engineering of the Training and Development (T&D) PMO Transformation Team.

Sara's expertise in project management is evident in her accomplishments at Saudi Aramco, where her team successfully completed 24 initiatives, including CMS to LMS migration, introducing a global learning platform, securing partnership agreements, and planning outreach engagements.

Sara's passion for women's empowerment shines through her contribution to establishing the Eastern Province Driving Academy (EPDA), the first women's driving center in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia.

Her triumph over cervical cancer exemplifies Sara's unwavering resilience, deepening her commitment to health and wellbeing as an ICF-certified executive coach, yoga teacher trainer, and volunteer with AIESEC, supporting MENA youth.

Sara's dedication to excellence has been recognized through various awards, including recognition for her outstanding work by HRH Prince Saud bin Naif. She is a true catalyst for positive change, inspiring those around her to reach new heights.
