This seminar is part of our 'Future of Fuel' Day. 
The KAUST Catalysis Center (KCC) was established as a world-leading hub developing a multi-disciplinary approach to 'Catalysis by Design', targeting scientific challenges of the 21st century. 
This lecture series will feature two international speakers, three KAUST speakers, and a speaker from Aramco.

3:20 - 3:40 p.m.: Kazuhiro Takanabe - Hydrogen as Solar Fuel (Principle and concept of catalysis for hydrogen generation via water splitting using solar energy)
3:40 - 4:00 p.m.: Andy (Kuo-Wei) - Formic Acid based Electric car (A novel catalytic system for hydrogen generation from formic acid will be introduced and employed in the electric car design)
4:00 - 4:20 p.m.: Wei Xu (Aramco) - Turning Oil into Everyday Products
4:20 - 5:00 p.m.: Jean-Marie Basset - Panel mod.​​
