This system can be used to study in batch mode heterogeneous catalytic reactions when liquid, gas, and solid phases are simultaneously present. It can operate 4 reactors simultaneously at temperatures from -80 to 190 °C and pressures up to 100 barg. Integrated IR-ATR sensors located at the bottom of the reactor vessel are used to follow the IR of the slurry as function of reaction. Using IR to follow the reaction should allow the study of the reaction kinetics with the required time resolution. The system comes with liquid sampling ports for off-line analysis and also 4 gas uptake monitoring setups for gas consumption quantification. This equipment can be used for several applications, such as, selective hydrogenations, oxidation, hydroformylation.
