Research Interests

My research interests are the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials bearing well-defined metal complexes on their surface for use in heterogeneous catalysis, especially photocatalytic water splitting. My focus has so far been determining the nature of surface species present on titanium dioxide nanoparticles with controlled morphology, and grafting metal complexes on these for alkane oxidative dehydrogenation and hydrogen evolution reaction.
