Arvind Rajendran

Biography

Arvind Rajendran is a professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Alberta. He received his PhD from ETH Zurich. He started his academic career at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and moved to the University of Alberta in 2012. Between 2016 and 2020, he served as an associate editor of the Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering and as an area editor of Adsorption- the journal of the International Adsorption Society. He has co-authored over 85+ and (co-) advised 45+ highly qualified personnel (MSc+PhD+Post-doc). His research group focuses on adsorptive gas separations with applications in CO2 capture, oxygen purification and helium separation.
