Cafer T. Yavuz (http://www.caferyavuz.com) received his Ph.D. from Rice University in 2008 with a Welch scholarship and was a postdoc at UCSB (2008–2010). He was a professor of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at KAIST. Currently, He is Professor of Chemical Science at KAUST with a research focus on nanomaterials design and synthesis for applications in the environment.
