Biography

Da-Gang Yu received his B.S. from Sichuan University in 2007 and Ph.D. from Peking University in 2012 (with Prof. Zhang-Jie Shi). Then he carried out postdoctoral research with Humboldt fellowship in Muenster University (with Prof. Frank Glorious). Since 2015, he has been working independently in Sichuan University with support from “The Thousand Young Talents Plan” and National Natural Science Foundation of China--Outstanding Young Scholars. His research interests mainly focus on novel transformations of CO2, radical chemistry and transition metal catalysis. He has published 95 papers with H-index of 47. He received Thieme Chemistry Journal Award, Asian Core Program Lectureship Award, Chinese Chemical Society Youth Award, Chinese Catalytic Rookie Award, Science China Chemistry Emerging Investigator and Chemical Communications Emerging Investigator. He was appointed as the associate editor of Chem. Syn. as well as (young) member of editorial board of Chin. J. Catal., Sci. China Chem., Asian J. Org Chem. and so on. Moreover, he has been invited as a co-guest editor to organize 3 special issues on CO2 chemistry for Chinese Journal of Chemistry, Green Chemistry and Chinese Journal of Catalysis.
