Research Interests

Synthesis of polypeptides for drug delivery applications. As polypeptides are well known for being biodegradable and biocompatible, they are perfect for designing drugs vehicle. They have been synthesized using ROP technique for NCAs monomers, to form the hydrophobic core of the micelles. While the hydrophilic shell is either PEG or Polypeptoides. Loading of the hydrophobic drug will be by using stimuli responsive linkage. This chemical conjugation contributes to control the drug release and reduces the side effects of the drug.
