Research Interests

​I have a background as polymer chemist, more precisely I focused on the controlled synthesis of nonlinear conjugated polymers during my PhD. But my interest goes further than polymer chemistry. I want to explore and further develop state-of-the-art organic synthesis routes towards conjugated systems. Apart from improving the current established routes towards conjugated systems via classical cross coupling reactions depending on transition metal catalysts I'm keen to develop transition metal free pathways towards these type of materials.
