Research Interests

To optimize a different kind of novel metal oxides and mesoporous silicas for waste utilization to value added and upgraded chemicals through heterogenous catalysis to maximize the selectivity, activity, and stability to serve CO2 hydrogenation and isomerization reactions, including two-step reaction from plastic waste into high yield xylenes. Besides, investigating different transition metals (e.g. W, Ce, Zr, Zn, Ti, Ni) and various supports. Finally, to study their surface properties and their effect on the catalyst performance. Waste Utilization (CO2 and plastic) to value added and upgraded chemicals through heterogenous catalysis, utilizing nano materials for waste stream treatment.
